  • Overview

    This is a position that provides a unique opportunity to work with our largest and most strategic prospects on every step of the sales process. You will partner with the Sales Team to turn prospects into successful, happy and long term customers.

    You will be responsible for all technical, solution, and competitive aspects of the Visual Lease sales cycle. You will sell to Enterprise and Mid-Market executives, convincing C-level and director level executives of the technical merits of the software solution.

     

    The Sales Engineer will work, in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers, to be the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their prospects. This individual will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our prospects to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and via telephone.

    What You Will Do

    • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
    • Collaborate closely with management and the rest of the sales team to meet monthly and quarterly goals
    • Communicate with the customer regarding complex technical topics. You'll be the voice of the customer to engineering and the voice of engineering to sales and the customer
    • Propose, design, create, and present prototypes, demos, and proofs of concept to a wide variety of audiences, which include marketing professionals and engineers
    • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive product and business strategy
    • Share in-depth Platform expertise to support the technical relationship with Visual Lease customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption.
    • Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Visual Lease product integrations in customer/partner environments.
    • Potentially travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.

    What You Will Need

    • 2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer for a SaaS company
    • Experience driving technical conversations during the sales process
    • Experience in both pre-sales activity as well as post-sales activity
    • Has experience troubleshooting complex issues and identifying root causes
    • You are highly technical and want to understand how things really work.
