  • Overview

    Visual Lease is seeking a Director, Channel Sales, who will report directly to the Vice President, Sales.  This is a position that provides a unique opportunity to work directly with over 300 clients in various industries all over the world.

    This is a senior position where the individual is responsible for impacting revenue through effective management, leadership, innovation and creation of programs to build new approaches with our partners. This role is a partnership with the Channel Sales leaders, Alliances & our Customer Success Service delivery team. They will work to ensure the organization is able to effectively support sales in defining strategies, business plans and initiatives to build partners to drive pipeline and progress opportunities to close. The ideal candidate is required to possess global, and extremely strong, technical pre-sales and Channel experience.

    What You Will Do

    • Own Visual Lease’s partnering model from strategy to execution.
    • Evangelize Visual Lease products and solutions and educate Visual Lease Partners on new areas of opportunities in collaboration with Visual Lease.
    • Build a set of services for partners in a SaaS environment.
    • Provide insight and recommendations on the opportunity to leverage the right partners to drive newer solutions through the channel business working in close alignment with the sales counterparts
    • Cultivate relationships with key partner & alliance technical stakeholders
    • Participate in account planning and opportunity funnel management with partners; work with partner sales management to help formulate sales strategies and align appropriate technical resources
    • Build a consistent process to drive enablement, product updates, technical training and collaterals for the partners to ensure execution effectiveness.
    • Build alignment and momentum with Visual Lease partners by developing solutions and go-to-market programs.
    • Build revenue generation and strategic partnership development and management.
    • Execution of partner programs including, but not limited to, lead generation, partner sales enablement, co-marketing, event participation, partner training, product integration oversight, and marketplace management.

    What You Will Need

    • Proven experience in a corporate development or business development capacity in a highly competitive market with strong preference for Enterprise Accounting SaaS solutions.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Accounting, or a similar discipline. 
    • Must be able to demonstrate ability to achieve sales success; including executive-level relationships, account penetration, solution selling, and coordination of multi-site account management.
    • Able to handle a large volume of activity, with the ability to both nurture existing partner relationships as well as drive new relationships to demonstrable value.
    • Strong analytical skills, including market strategy, customer requirements and success factors, and a value-based selling process.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creation of convincing and strategic sales approach, proposal, documentation and presentation.
    • Team leader with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Generates new and innovative approaches to problems.
    • Ability to travel up to 50%.
