    Visual Lease is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to add to our growing Product Management Team.  You will play a key role throughout the software development lifecycle by contributing to the successful launch and evolution of key product and platform features. You will collaborate closely with product, design, development, QA and other key departments to translate critical business and product requirements into technical specifications that support our mission to provide world class software and customer service to our global clients.

    What You Will Do

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to elicit and evaluate business needs, processes and requirements from a variety of user viewpoints
    • Draft, validate and finalize detailed requirements and functional design specifications in time boxed stages
    • Design effective processes and workflows that can be implemented with minimal disruption to supporting systems
    • Co-lead design sessions and proactively examine the change impact of process adjustments on people, strategy, systems and business operations to inform decisions around priority and risk mitigation
    • Coordinate and collaborate with product, design, development and QA to ensure that documented requirements are understood by the team
    • Proactively track project progress by monitoring activity, resolving issues and raising blockers
    • Drive efficient and effective change management processes with all stakeholders
    • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of deliverables post-implementation to ensure appropriateness and take a leadership role in facilitating ongoing process improvements

    What You Will Need

    • 4+ years of experience as a business analyst working with technical systems
    • Experience working with Financial Accounting systems/software
    • Core competencies in the creation of user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams and functional requirements
    • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated success synthesizing inputs from multiple sources, dissecting high-level concepts into details and applying a systematic approach to solving complex problems
    • BA/BS in the field of technology or business preferred
    • Proficiency with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as JIRA or Version One, Visio, MS Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications
    • Hands-on experience in an Agile Scrum development environment
    • Detail oriented, yet able to move forward efficiently in the face of unanswered questions
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences
